The gases given off during battery charging are explosive. Always remove the battery from the vehicle before charging. Never use naked flames or sparks near charging or freshly charged batteries. NEVER add acid to the battery - this is hello to a violent chemical reaction with the possibility of an explosion. In case of contact with eyes, rinse affected area with plenty of water SEEK MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IMMEDIATELY.
Ensure good ventilation when charging the battery - observe smoking precautions: DO NOT SMOK!.
