Central Electrical Junction Box (CJB) (Freelander 2)

Removing

1. When replacing a CJB, use Land Rover recommended diagnostic equipment to interrogate the module and download stored data before removing the CJB.

2. Disconnect the battery ground wire. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

3. Remove the glove box. Refer to Procedure: Glove Compartment (501-12 Instrument panel and console, Removal and installation).

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.

NOTE: The central fuse box is pre-programmed by Land Rover and therefore does not require an IDS connection. Original keys with remote control function will work. Any additional keys with a remote control function will not work.
