The ICM block contains the function of the master system clock. Other vehicle entertainment modules that require a time function receive data from the ICM.
The clock is available to any control module if it is connected to a connecting bus, such as the CAN buses or the MOST bus.
The display can show the time in 12-hour format («before noon» And «afternoon»), and can also be set to 24-hour format. Accordingly, midnight is designated as 12:00AM or 00:00:00. When power on, the default clock (if there are no other settings) will show 12:00PM or 00:00. Clocks default to either 12-hour or 24-hour format, depending on the delivery market.
Time setting is done via ICM. If any of the data buses are currently down or in «sleeping» mode, ICM does not allow clock adjustment.
