AM/FM tuner (Freelander 2)

IAM has a built-in AM/FM tuner that allows for 30 FM presets (FM1 FM2 FM a) and 20 in the AM band (10 AM &10 AM a, for Europe, the 10 most powerful LW &MW settings will be stored in frequency order). Presets are stored in the IAM and ICM memory. The radio also performs the following functions:

• Automatic station tuning
• Receiving traffic messages (TA) - Europe only
• Radio Data System function (RDS) EON (in North American markets - Radio Broadcast Data System (RBDS)
• Search for stations
• Forward and Reverse Adjustment
• Scanning
• PTY

NOTE: On vehicles equipped with an HD radio module, the module replaces the AM/FM function in IAM. The AM and FM antennas connect directly to the HD radio module, not to the IAM; therefore, the AM/FM features in IAM are disabled.
