WARNING: Only personnel who are familiar with the device of the system and special equipment for its filling and maintenance are allowed to service the air conditioning system. All operations must be carried out in well ventilated areas, away from sources of open flame.
NOTE: The receiver drier should only be replaced if: There is dirt in the refrigerant circuit (e.g. compressor stuck), system leaks, refrigerant outlet to atmosphere, or refrigerant circuit has been open for more than 24 hours due to repair.
1. Remove the access cover.
2. Remove the dust caps from the high and low pressure ports.
3. Connect the high and low pressure lines to the appropriate ports.
4. Open the valves on the ports.
5. Set the valves at the service station to the correct position.
6. Wait for the refrigerant to be discharged from the system.
7. Close the valves at the service station.
8. Close the valves on the ports.
9. Disconnect the high and low pressure lines from their respective ports.
10. Install the dust caps on the ports.
11. Vacuuming.
12. Remove the dust caps from the high and low pressure ports.
13. Connect the high and low pressure lines to the appropriate ports.
14. Open the valves on the ports.
15. Wait until the service station completes the evacuation of the air conditioning system.
16. Refueling.
CAUTION: Evacuating the system should be done immediately before charging the system. Do not leave a vacuum system uncharged.
17. Close the valves at the service station.
18. Close the valves on the ports.
19. Disconnect the high and low pressure lines from their respective ports.
20. Install the dust caps on the ports. Tightening torque: 6 Nm
21. Install the access cover.
