Intrusion detection module (Freelander 2)
The Intrusion Detection Module is an optional system for some markets and not available for other markets. The intrusion detection module includes four sensors that allow you to monitor the interior of the car. The module is located in a central position on the roof lining of the vehicle.
The intrusion detection module is activated in surround mode, which in turn is activated when the car's double locking is activated. The car can be locked and alarmed with the module disabled (for example, if a pet is left in the car) by single blocking of the active anti-theft system.
When the surround mode is active, if the battery voltage drops below 9V, the CJB will ignore all inputs from the module to prevent false alarms.
