Glow Plug and Auxiliary Heater Burner (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The steps in this procedure may be part of the installation procedure.

Removing

1. Disconnect the battery ground wire. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

2. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Place axle stands under the vehicle.

3. Remove the fuel-fired auxiliary heater. Refer to Procedure: Fuel Auxiliary Heater (412-02 Additional climate control, Removal and installation).

4. Tightening torque: 10 Nm







7. Tightening torque: 7.5 Nm



8. Tightening torque: 10 Nm











13. Tightening torque: 7 Nm

NOTE: Remove and discard gasket.

Installation

1. Install the elements in the reverse order of disassembly.
