Removal and installation of an electric heater (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The description of the removal procedure may contain a description of the installation steps.

Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

2. Remove the gear selection lever. Refer to Procedure: Selector Assembly (307-05 External controls for automatic transmission / transaxle, Removal and installation). Refer to Procedure: Shift Lever (308-06 Manual transaxle/gearbox external controls, Removal and installation).

3. Remove both protruding sections of the floor console.









7. Tightening torque: 2 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
