General procedures
1. Check the specifications for the geometry. Refer to procedure: Specifications (204-00 Suspension - General Information, Specifications).
2. Check tie rod ends, suspension joints, hub bearings, wheel rims and tires for damage, wear and play.
3. Check and adjust the air pressure in the tires.
4. Place the vehicle on a calibrated horizontal vehicle lift.
5. Release the parking brake.
6. Using only Land Rover approved wheel alignment equipment on all four wheels, check and adjust wheel alignment.
7. Raise the vehicle.
WARNING: Place secure stands under the vehicle.
8. Adjust the toe of the rear wheels. Tightening torque: 175 Nm.
9. Re-measure the rear wheel alignment.
10. Set the steering wheel to the straight ahead position.
11. Adjust a convergence of forward wheels. Tightening torque: 55 Nm.
12. Check the wheel alignment and, if necessary, repeat the adjustment procedure to obtain the required values.
13. Using a Land Rover approved diagnostic system, calibrate the steering angle sensor.
