- Check the correct tire pressure, size and tread pattern
- Check for tire and wheel rim damage
- Check wheel alignment
- Check power steering fluid level and hydraulic drive for fluid leaks
- Check the condition and tension of the power steering pump drive belt
- Check the power steering pump for looseness, wear, damage and excessive noise
- Check the steering gear assembly for damage, wear and tightness
- Check hydraulic and coolant lines for damage and correct wiring
- Check the steering joints for damage, excessive clearance, wear and tightness
- Check the steering column and steering joints for damage, excessive clearance, wear and tightness
