Power Steering Working Fluid Cooler (Freelander 2)

Removing

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Be sure to install reliable supports under the car.

2. Remove the front wheels complete with tires. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).

3. Remove the front bumper. Refer to Procedure: Front Bumper (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and installation).

4. Remove the right headlight assembly. Refer to Procedure: Headlight Assembly (417-01 Outdoor lighting, Removal and installation).



5. Release the power steering reservoir.



6. Disconnect the quick coupling.

7. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.

2. Check the power steering fluid level, top up if necessary. Refer to Procedure: Bleeding Power Steering System (211-00 Steering system - General information, General procedures).
