Removing

1. Raise the vehicle.

WARNING: Place secure stands under the vehicle.

2. Remove both rear wheels. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).

3. Remove the rear differential. Refer to Procedure: Differential Box (205-02 Rear drive axle / differential, Removal and installation).

4. Using the special tools, remove the bushing. Special tool: 205-860-01, 205-860-02, 205-860-10, LR-121

Mark the position of the elements to facilitate subsequent installation. Mark the installation location of the elements before removal.

Installation

1. Using the special tool, crimp the bushing. Special tool: 205-860-09, 205-860-04, LR-121




2. Using the special tools, install the bushing. Special tool: 205-860-10, 205-860-01, 205-860-04, 205-860-03, LR-121

CAUTION: Be sure to use the appropriate special tool to set the bushings to the correct depth.

NOTE: Make sure that the elements are installed in the original position marked during removal.

3. Install the rear differential. Refer to Procedure: Differential Box (205-02 Rear drive axle / differential, Removal and installation).

4. Install the rear wheels. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
