2. With the parking brake lever fully released, release the parking brake cable adjuster.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Be sure to install reliable supports under the car.
4. Remove rear wheels. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
5. Turn the parking brake adjuster until there is no disc rotation. Then move the adjuster back 8 clicks.
NOTE: Apply the parking brake lever several times to center the brake pads.
6. Repeat the above procedure on the other side of the vehicle.
7. Adjust the front parking brake cable to allow the parking brake lever to move between 3 and 9 clicks to securely apply the brakes.
8. Install the coin tray and luggage compartment.
9. Install the rear wheels. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
10. Perform the parking brake pad burn-in procedure if necessary. Refer to procedure: Breaking in the Parking Brake Pads (206-05 Parking Brake and Parking Brake Actuator, General Procedures).
