Removing
1, Raise and support the car. Remove the front wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Be sure to install reliable supports under the car.
2. Release the brake caliper and tie aside.
CAUTION: Do not stress the brake hose.
3. Remove the brake disc.
Installation
1. Make sure the mating surfaces of the brake disc and hub are clean. Install the brake disc and tighten the Torx screw. Tightening torque: 35 Nm
2. Clean the brake caliper housing and base plate with clean brake fluid.
WARNING: Do not use compressed air to clean brake components. Dust from friction materials is harmful when it enters the lungs.
3. Install the brake caliper and tighten the new bolts. Tightening torque: 200 Nm
CAUTION: Make sure the brake hose is not kinked and is properly installed.
4. Install the front wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
5. Squeeze out a brake pedal, check up level of working liquid in a tank of a hydrodrive of brakes and if necessary add.
