The sunroof panel is a double-length block of glass, with the rear half fixed in place.
The front half of the sunroof is electrically operated via a 2-position switch located on the overhead console. An electric motor attached to the rear of the sunroof frame moves the front glass panel to tilt, open and close positions. The electric motor drives two cables that move the glass panel.
The sunroof panel is controlled by a control unit combined with an electric motor. The control unit receives input signals from the CJB and the switch. In accordance with these signals, the control unit controls the operation of the sunroof panel. The CJB also sends a vehicle speed signal to the control unit, which is used to calibrate the anti-jamming function.
