Front seat belt buckle (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The description of the removal procedure in this manual may include installation steps.

Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

2. Place the SRS system in safe mode. Refer to procedure: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering (501-20, General procedures).

3. Remove the front seat. Refer to Procedure: Front Seat (501-10 Seat, Removal and installation).



5. Tightening torque: 40 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
