All seats are equipped with 3-point seat belts. Each seat belt is equipped with an emergency locking retractor.
The emergency lock retract mechanism features a lift shaft lock system with a belt webbing sensor and sensitive actuators. The belt webbing sensor activates the locking mechanism if the belt webbing is subjected to a sharp tug. The vehicle sensor will activate the locking system if the vehicle is suddenly decelerating or tilting at a sharp angle.
All retractors for emergency locking on 1st row seats (driver and passenger) There is a motorized belt tension release device for comfort. This device is activated after ignition mode 6 is activated and the seat belt is fastened.
All emergency lock retracts on the 2nd row passenger seats and front passenger seat in NAS vehicles have been supplemented with auto lock retracts.
The auto-lock retract mechanism allows the belt to be pulled out with a ratchet action. This device secures the seatbelt securely, making it easier to install the child seat. When the seat belt is taut in the retract mode with automatic lock, the seat belt is locked.
The seat belt warning light on the instrument panel reminds the driver and front passenger to fasten their seat belts. In vehicles with North American specification (NAS), when the ignition is set to Auxiliary/Accessory Power Mode, the warning lamp comes on if the seat belt of the occupied front seat is not fastened. The warning lamp remains on until the seat belts of all occupied front seats are fastened, or until the ignition is switched off. In all markets except NAS, the seat belt reminder function provides a more visual reminder.
