| Axial movement of the driver's seat on command from the switch panel occurs in a discrete mode with a delay (the seat moves axially for a short distance when the switch is pressed for more than 2 seconds and then stops. This condition can occur on ANY axis of the seat, i.e. when moving forward / backward, down / up or changing the angle of inclination). | Hall sensor of the drive motor of the corresponding axle is not connected or does not receive the expected signals | Check for the following DTCs associated with the DSM: B1B8731 - Seat Height/Position Motor Speed Sensor. B1B8931 Seat Tilt Motor Speed/Position Sensor B1B9331 Seat Tilt Motor Speed/Position Sensor If equipped, check connection (I) Hall sensor feedback between motor (yami) seat and seat module, and check the Hall sensor ground connections for the respective axle. After troubleshooting the Hall sensor connection, press and hold the corresponding axis move switch for more than 2 seconds. Now, when the switch is held down, axis movement should occur as long as the switch is pressed. Recalibrate the appropriate seat. |
