Driver Classification Sensor (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The passenger classification sensor is built into the passenger seat cushion. This sensor is only installed on North American models.

Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

2. Remove an upholstery of a pillow of a forward seat. Refer to Procedure: Front Seat Cushion Upholstery (501-10 Seat, Removal and installation).

Installation

1. Install the front seat cushion upholstery. Refer to Procedure: Front Seat Cushion Upholstery (501-10 Seat, Removal and installation).

2. Connect a wire of weight to the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

3. Use the IDS to configure the new passenger classification sensor.
