Fixed section tailgate window (Freelander 2)

Removing

1. Lower the front glass to the base of the door.

2. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

3. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Procedure: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

4. Remove finishing of a frame of a back door.

• Remove two nuts.
• Remove the two Torx screws.
• Release the glass guide insert.

Installation

1. Install the rear door window fixed glass and tighten the nuts and Torx screws evenly. Tightening torque: 5 Nm

2. Install the door frame trim.

3. Install the tailgate trim panel. Refer to Procedure: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

4. Connect a wire of weight to the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).
