Removal and installation of a mudguard of a wing (Freelander 2)

Removing

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always place secure supports under the vehicle.

2. Remove the front wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).

3. Remove the wing mudguard extension panel.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the element is removed only for access.

Installation

1. Install the tire pressure sensor antenna.

2. Fit the wing mudguard and tighten the Torx screw to 6 Nm.

3. Install the wing mudguard extension panel.

4. Install the front wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
