Positive crankcase ventilation valve: Td4 engine (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Remove the air cleaner element.

DIESEL ENGINE FUEL SUPPLY, REPAIR WORK, Air cleaner filter element.

3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.

4. Remove 3 screws and set aside the injector harnesses.



5. Turn away 4 bolts with an internal hexagon and remove the valve of system of ventilation together with the filter. Dispose of seals.

Installation

1. Clean the mating surfaces of the valve body with filter and mating surfaces.

2. Install the valve and filter with new seals and tighten the mounting bolts to 8 Nm.

3. Reposition the injector wire harness and secure it with screws.

4. Attach the connectors to the injectors.

5. Install the air cleaner element.

6. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
