Throttle position sensor: after May 2003 (Freelander 1)

Except North American Market: after May 2003.

Dismantling

1. Check that the ignition is off.



2. Turn away 2 nuts and release a gas pedal with the throttle position sensor from hairpins.

3. Disconnect the connector from the throttle position sensor.

4. Remove the gas pedal with throttle position sensor.

Installation

1. Install the gas pedal with the sensor and connect the connector.

2. Install the gas pedal with the sensor on the studs and tighten the nuts to a torque of 25 Nm.
