Integrated intake manifold pressure sensor (MAP/IAT) (Freelander 1)

Combined intake manifold pressure and intake air temperature sensor (MAP/IAT).

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Remove a noise-insulating casing of the engine.

KV6 ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Noise-insulating casing of the engine.

3. Disconnect the connector from the air flow/temperature sensor (MAF/IAT).



4. Turn away 2 screws of fastening the gauge to an inlet receiver and remove the gauge.

Installation

1. Clean the mating surfaces of the sensor and inlet receiver.

2. Install the sensor, screw in the bolts and tighten them.

3. Connect the connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.

4. Replace the engine soundproof cover.

5. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
