Idle Air Control (IACV) (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Remove a noise-insulating casing of the engine.

KV6 ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Noise-insulating casing of the engine.

3. Disconnect the connector from the idle speed controller.

4. Wring out shoulders and take out a vacuum hose from the case of a regulator of idling.



5. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of a regulator of idling to a throttle branch pipe.

6. Remove the idle speed control and discard the gasket.

Installation

1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the idle speed controller and throttle tube.

2. Install a new gasket on the idle speed control.

3. Install the idle speed controller, screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them.

4. Attach a vacuum hose to an idle speed regulator.

5. Connect the connector to the idle speed control.

6. Replace the engine soundproof cover.

7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
