Dismantling
1. Loosen the 2 clamps and disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the valve cover.
2. Remove ignition coils.

3. Remove debris from spark plug sockets.
4. Release the clamp securing the ignition coil harnesses and the camshaft position sensor from the valve cover.
5. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the gauge of position of a cam-shaft to a valve cover, release the gauge and take it aside.
6. Loosen and remove the 15 valve cover bolts in the sequence shown in the figure.
7. Remove the valve cover and discard its gasket.
Installation
1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the valve cover and integral camshaft cover.
2. Clean the inside of the valve cover. If necessary, clean the oil separator packing in solvent and blow it dry.
3. Install the valve cover gasket.
NOTE: An advanced flare gasket must be installed.
4. Install the valve cover, screw in the bolts and tighten them with a torque of 8 Nm in the sequence shown in the figure.
5. Wipe the camshaft position sensor (CMP) and mating surfaces. Install the sensor, screw in its mounting bolt and tighten to 8 Nm.
6. Fix the wire harness in the clamp.
7. Install ignition coils.

8. Attach hoses of system of ventilation and fix them collars.
