Front right oxygen sensor: Except Americas (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Raise the front of the car.

WARNING: Do not work under a vehicle that is only supported by a jack. Always install safety props.

2. Remove the left front wheel.



3. Remove the right oxygen sensor connector from the bracket on the cooling pipe and disconnect the connector.



4. Remove the oxygen sensor from the right exhaust manifold.

Installation

1. Wipe the oxygen sensor and exhaust manifold mating surface.

2. Reinstall the heated oxygen sensor and tighten to 55 Nm.

3. Connect the connector of the right oxygen sensor, fix the connector on the bracket of the cooling system pipe.

4. Reinstall the left wheel and tighten the nuts to 115 Nm.

5. Remove props and lower the car.
