Examination
1. Remove the soundproof casing of the engine.
KV6 ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Noise-insulating casing of the engine.
2. Lay a rag near the fuel supply hose to prevent spilled fuel from spreading.
WARNING: Fuel vapors are highly flammable and in an enclosed area are also toxic and explosive. When working with fuel, it is necessary to have a foam type, carbon dioxide fire extinguisher at hand (CO2), gas or powder.
3. Disconnect the fuel supply hose from the fuel rail.
4. Connect adapter LRT-19-013 to pressure gauge LRT-19-004.
5. Using an adapter, connect the LRT-19-004 pressure gauge to the fuel supply line and to the fuel rail, fix the pressure gauge tube with a clamp on the fuel rail.
6. Start the engine. In idle mode, pressure \u003d 3.4 bar. If the pressure is lower than specified, then the following should be checked, in order of listing: fuel hoses, filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump.
7. Stop the engine.
8. Release the clamp and disconnect the LRT-19-004 pressure gauge from the fuel supply hose and from the fuel rail.
9. Disconnect adapter LRT-19-013 from LRT-19-004 gauge.
10. Connect the fuel supply hose to the fuel rail.
11. Replace the engine soundproof cover.
