Rear Left Oxygen Sensor: Americas (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Raise the front of the vehicle and install safety stands.

WARNING: Do not work under a vehicle that is only supported by a jack. Always install safety props.

3. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor harness from the mounting brackets.

4. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

5. Remove the oxygen sensor.

Installation

1. Clean the oxygen sensor and its seat.

2. Install the oxygen sensor and tighten it to 55 Nm.

3. Connect the oxygen sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.

4. Secure the harness in the clamps.

5. Remove props and lower the car.

6. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
