Front left oxygen sensor: Americas (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Remove a noise-insulating casing of the engine.

KV6 ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Noise-insulating casing of the engine.

3. Remove the lower engine protection.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.

4. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

5. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor harness from the clamp.



6. Remove the oxygen sensor.

Installation

1. Clean the oxygen sensor and its seat.

2. Install the oxygen sensor and tighten to 55 Nm.

3. Attach the oxygen sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.

4. Clip the sensor harness into the clamp.

5. Reinstall the lower motor guard.

6. Replace the engine soundproof cover.

7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
