Front Left Oxygen Sensor: Except Americas (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Raise the front of the vehicle.

WARNING: Do not work under a vehicle that is only supported by a jack. Always install safety props.

2. Remove the lower engine protection.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.

3. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.



4. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor harness from the clamp.

5. Remove the oxygen sensor from the left exhaust manifold.

Installation

1. Wipe the oxygen sensor and exhaust manifold mating surface.

2. Reinstall the heated oxygen sensor and tighten to 55 Nm.

3. Connect the connector to the oxygen sensor and fix the connector in the bracket and the harness in the clamp.

4. Reinstall the lower motor guard.

5. Remove props and lower the car.
