Front oxygen sensor (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.



2. Release the oxygen sensor harness from the clamp on the cylinder block.

3. Using a special 22 mm wrench, unscrew the oxygen sensor.

Installation

1. Wipe the heated oxygen sensor housing (HO ₂ S), sealing washer and mating surfaces.

2. Reinstall the heated oxygen sensor and tighten to 55 Nm.

3. Connect the oxygen sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.

4. Attach the oxygen sensor harness to the clamp on the cylinder block.
