Ignition coil (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.



2. Turn away 3 bolts of fastening of a cover of coils of ignition.

3. Remove the cover.

4. Disconnect the high voltage wire from the spark plug.



5. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of the coil and remove it from a spark plug.

6. Disconnect the connector from the coil and remove the coil.

7. Disconnect the high voltage wire from the coil.

Installation

1. Connect the high voltage wire to the ignition coil.

2. Install the coil, connect the connector and secure the ignition coil to the spark plug.

3. Screw in 2 bolts and tighten them with a torque of 8 Nm.

4. Attach the high voltage wire to the spark plug and secure the wire to the bracket.

5. Install the ignition coil cover, screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them to a torque of 10 Nm.

6. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
