Sensors: Camshaft position sensor (CMP) (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.



3. Release the camshaft position sensor harness connector from the bracket and disconnect the connector.

4. Release the sensor harness from the clamp.

5. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the sensor of position of a cam-shaft (CMP) and remove the sensor.

Installation

1. Wipe the camshaft position sensor (CMP) and mating surfaces.

2. Install the camshaft position sensor (CMP), screw in the bolt and tighten it to 10 Nm.

3. Connect the camshaft position sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.

4. Establish a cover of the coil of ignition, screw in bolts of fastening and tighten them the moment of 10 Nanometers.

5. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
