Dismantling
1. Remove the lower engine protection.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.
2. Remove the battery pad.

3. Install a jack under the gearbox.
4. Take out a through bolt of fastening of an arm of a transmission to the left support.
5. Lower the box so that it is clear of the support.
6. Turn out 4 bolts of fastening of the left arm of a support to a transmission and remove an arm.
7. Using tool LRT-37-050, disconnect the gear selection rod from the gear selection rod.
8. Using the LRT-37-049 puller, carefully remove the roll pin that connects the selector lever to the stem.
9. Remove the lever from the stem.
10. Remove and discard the 5 gear selector cover bolts and remove the cover.
11. Remove the stuffing box from the cover and discard it.
Installation
1. Wash the gland seat in the selector cover, mating surfaces of the cover and gearbox.
2. Using the LRT-37-046 mandrel, press a new oil seal into the cover.
3. Lubricate the moving parts on the cover with clean gear oil.
4. Apply a 1 mm thick bead of STC 4600 sealant to the gear selector cover at the locations shown in the illustration.
5. Put the cover on the gear selection rod, screw in new bolts, tighten them, evenly and gradually, with a torque of 25 Nm.
6. Put the lever on the gear selection rod, insert a nylon spacer into the groove of the lever and align the holes for the cylindrical pin.
7. Install Drift LRT-37-049, press new pin into selector shaft and remove Drift. Check the operation of the gear selector mechanism.
8. Install the bracket on the gearbox, screw in the bolts and tighten them to a torque of 85 Nm.
9. Pass the through bolt of the gearbox bracket into the support on the body and tighten the bolt to 100 Nm.
10. Replace the battery tray.

11. Reinstall the lower engine guard.
