Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
COOLING SYSTEM: MOD. K, KV6 engine, ADJUSTMENTS, Coolant drain, system flush and fill.
3. Remove the fuel rail.
PETROL FUEL SUPPLY, ADJUSTMENTS, Fuel rail, KV6 engine: Except North American market.
PETROL ENGINE FUEL SUPPLY, ADJUSTMENTS, Fuel rail, KV6 engine: North American market countries.
4. Wring out shoulders and take out a ventilation hose from the left inlet collector.
5. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the coolant hose from the intake manifold.
6. Consistently loosen and turn away 7 bolts of fastening of the left inlet manifold to a head of cylinders.
7. Remove the intake manifold and discard its gaskets.
Installation
1. Clean intake manifold and mating surfaces on cylinder head.
2. Install a new gasket on the cylinder head, install the intake manifold, screw in the bolts and tighten them to 25 Nm.
3. Attach a ventilation hose to the left intake manifold.
4. Attach a hose of system of cooling to a collector and fix it with a collar.
5. Install the fuel rail.

6. Fill the cooling system with coolant.

7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
