Oil pressure switch (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Remove the starter.

SYSTEM OF STARTING THE ENGINE AND CHARGING THE BATTERY, REPAIR WORKS, Starter - engine Td4.

3. Disconnect the connector from the oil pressure switch.

4. Spread a rag to catch spilled oil.

5. Unscrew the contact pressure switch and discard the sealing washer.

Installation

1. Wipe the threads of the oil pressure switch.

2. Install a new sealing washer on the oil pressure switch.

3. Screw in the oil pressure switch and tighten it. Tightening torque 38 Nm.

4. Connect the connector to the oil pressure switch.

5. Reinstall the starter.

6. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
