Left engine mount (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the intake air hoses.

DIESEL ENGINE FUEL SUPPLY, REPAIR WORKS, Intake air ducts.

2. Remove the battery pad.

SYSTEM OF STARTING THE ENGINE AND CHARGING THE BATTERY, REPAIR WORKS, Support tray - storage battery.

3. Fix a cowl in vertical position.

4. Attach the lifting chains to the lifting eyes and lift the engine to take its weight off the supports.



5. Turn out a through bolt of fastening of the left support of the engine to a transmission.

6. Lower the engine to gain access.

7. Turn out 4 screws of fastening of the left support to a body and remove a support.

8. Remove the silent block from the support.

Installation

1. Wipe down all mounting and mating surfaces.

2. Install the silent blocks on the support.

3. Establish the left support on a body, screw in bolts and tighten the moment of 45 Nm.

4. Move the gearbox bracket to the left support, thread through the through bolt and tighten it to 100 Nm.

5. Disconnect the lifting chains.

6. Replace the battery tray.

7. Install the intake air hoses.

DIESEL ENGINE FUEL SUPPLY, REPAIR WORKS, Intake air ducts.

8. Untie the hood and close it.
