Oil pressure check (Freelander 1)

Examination

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Turn out the contact gauge of pressure of oil.

ENGINE - Td4, Intake and exhaust camshafts, Oil pressure switch.

3. Install the sealing washer on the pressure gauge adapter LRT-12-052/10.

4. Install the adapter LRT-052/10 in place of the contact pressure sensor and tighten it.

5. Install pressure gauge LRT-12-052C and tighten fitting.

6. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

7. Reinstall the starter.

SYSTEM OF STARTING THE ENGINE AND CHARGING THE BATTERY, REPAIR WORKS, Starter - engine Td4.

8. Attach "negative" battery terminal.

9. Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.

10. Record the oil pressure with the engine running at no load at 3500 rpm.

11. Stop the engine.

12. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

13. Remove the starter.

14. Turn away the manometer.

15. Turn out an adapter.

16. Wipe off any oil spills.


17. Install an oil pressure switch.

18. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

19. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
