Oil pressure check (Freelander 1)

Examination

1. Turn out the contact gauge of pressure of oil.

KV6 ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, Left cylinder head camshafts, Oil pressure switch.

2. Install the sealing washer from the oil pressure contact sensor on the adapter LRT-12-052/10 to connect the pressure gauge.

3. Screw adapter LRT-12-052/10 into the oil filter head and tighten it.

4. Attach pressure gauge LRT-12-052C and tighten the fastening nut.

5. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

6. Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.

7. Record the oil pressure with the engine running at no load at 3000 rpm.

8. Stop the engine, disconnect the pressure gauge from the adapter.

9. Turn out an adapter.

10. Wipe off any oil spills.

11. Install an oil pressure switch.

12. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.
