Arm of the right support of the engine assy (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the lower engine protection.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.

2. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the top right cross-beam of the engine to the top bracket on the engine.

3. Loosen the bolt securing the upper right engine cross member to the body and move the cross member away from the upper bracket.

4. Support the engine by placing a jack with a block of wood as a spacer under the sump.



5. Turn away a nut of fastening of the top arm of the engine to the right hydrosupport.

6. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of the top bracket to the engine.

7. Remove the top bracket.

Installation

1. Install the top bracket.

2. Screw in the bolts securing the upper bracket to the front of the engine and tighten them to a torque of 170 Nm.

3. Lower the jack under the engine and remove the jack.

4. Install the nut that secures the engine top bracket to the hydraulic support and tighten it. Tightening torque 85 Nm.

5. Install the upper right cross member on the upper bracket, screw in the bolt and tighten it to 80 Nm.

6. Tighten the bolt securing the upper cross member to the body to 80 Н·м.

7. Reinstall the lower engine guard.
