Sensors: crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Remove the starter.

SYSTEM OF STARTING THE ENGINE AND CHARGING THE BATTERY, REPAIR WORKS, Starter - engine Td4.

3. Disconnect the block from the crankshaft position sensor (CKP).

4. Turn away the screw with an internal hexagon and remove the crankshaft position sensor (CKP).

5. Remove and discard gasket.

Installation

1. Wipe the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) and mating surfaces.

2. Install a new seal on the crankshaft position sensor (CKP).

3. Install the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) and tighten the fastening screw to 8 Nm.

4. Attach the block to the crankshaft position sensor (CKP).

5. Reinstall the starter.

6. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
