Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
WARNING: Fuel vapors are highly flammable and in an enclosed area are also toxic and explosive. When working with fuel, it is necessary to have a foam type, carbon dioxide fire extinguisher at hand (CO2), gas or powder.
2. Disconnect the connector from the low fuel pressure sensor.
3. Turn away a nut of fastening of the gauge of low pressure of fuel to a body.
4. Lay a rag around the fuel pipes to collect escaping fuel.
5. Loosen the clamp and remove the hose from the fuel filter to the low fuel pressure sensor.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing system components, make sure that the surfaces adjacent to the connection points are free of dirt. Install plugs in fittings and piping to keep dirt out of the system.
6. Remove and dispose of the clamp securing the rail fuel supply hose to the low fuel pressure sensor.
7. Remove the rail fuel supply hose from the low fuel pressure sensor.
8. Remove the low fuel pressure sensor.
Installation
1. Wipe the connecting parts of the fuel hoses.
2. Install the low fuel pressure sensor on the body.
3. Put both fuel hoses on the low pressure sensor and secure them.
4. Remove the previously laid out rags.
5. Screw on the nut that secures the fuel low pressure sensor to the body and tighten it to a torque of 10 Nm.
6. Connect the connector to the low fuel pressure sensor.
7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
