Boost pressure control solenoid valve (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Put the car on a lift.

2. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

3. Raise the vehicle.



4. Disconnect the connector from the EV boost pressure control valve.

5. Tag and disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses and atmospheric hose from the boost control solenoid valve.

6. Turn away 2 bolts and remove the electrovacuum valve.

7. Turn away 2 nuts and remove the electrovacuum valve from an arm of fastening.

8. Check the rubber mounts of the vac valve for damage and replace if necessary.

Installation

1. Install the rubber feet on the bracket.

2. Install the electrovacuum valve on the rubber supports and tighten the mount to 5 Nm.

3. Install the bracket for the electrovacuum valve on the TKR and tighten the bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.

4. Connect atmospheric and vacuum hoses.

5. Connect the electrical connector.

6. Lower the car.

7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
