Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Remove the lower engine protection.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.
3. Install a container to collect escaping coolant.
4. Loosen the two clamps and disconnect the cooling system hoses from the transmission heat exchanger.
5. Place a container to collect the spilled liquid.
6. Disconnect the 2 fittings from the heat exchanger and discard the O-rings.
7. Turn away 3 bolts of fastening of an arm of the heat exchanger.
8. Remove the heat exchanger for cooling the working fluid.
Installation
1. Wipe the fixing points of the heat exchanger.
2. Reinstall the heat exchanger, screw in the bolts, tighten 2 bolts to 45 Nm and the remaining bolt to 25 Nm.
3. Attach hoses of system of cooling and fix them collars.
4. Lubricate new O-rings with clean working fluid and install them on the heat exchanger hoses.
5. Connect the hoses to the heat exchanger and tighten the union nuts to a torque of 18 Nm.
6. Add working fluid to the gearbox.
MAINTENANCE, MAINTENANCE SERVICE, Automatic Transmission - JATCO.
7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
8. Fill the engine with coolant.
COOLING SYSTEM: Td4 engine, ADJUSTMENTS, Coolant drain, system flush and fill.
9. Reinstall the lower engine guard.
