- When assembling, install only the gaskets provided for by the design.
- If the joints are sealed with sealant, then spread it with a thin layer on the metal surfaces. Keep it away from oil holes, pipelines and blind threaded holes.
- If the joint is sealed with a gasket and (or) sealant, remove any remaining old gasket and sealant before reassembly. Do not use tools that can damage surfaces. Align all burrs and scratches with polishing paste (polishing bar). Do not allow dirt or old seal residue to get into the blind holes of the joint and into the housing.
- Before assembling, blow out all pipes, channels and recesses with compressed air.

When assembling, mating joints must be dry, unless the condition of the joint surfaces during assembly is specifically indicated.
