Do not dump used oil on the ground, down drains, sewers or running water.
Burning used engine oil in heaters and small volume boilers is only permitted if these units are adapted to the needs and the procedure is in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. The unit system must comply with HMIP standards for fireboxes with a power less than 0.4 MW. If in doubt, contact your local authorities or the manufacturer of the relevant equipment.
Dispose of used oil and filters through authorized waste disposal companies or specialized waste oil collection points. If in doubt, contact your local authorities for advice on the disposal of used materials.
