Car evacuation (Freelander 1)

Observe the following rules when recovering a vehicle after it has been in a collision.

Towing - SRS system components did not work

When the vehicle is normally towed, it is unlikely that the SRS system components will operate. However, as a precaution, turn off the ignition and disconnect both battery wires. Disconnect the negative terminal first.

Towing - SRS components have been triggered

If the driver's airbag has deployed, partial towing is allowed (the front axle rests on the body of the tractor). However, as a precaution, turn off the ignition and disconnect both battery wires. Disconnect the negative terminal first.
