Towing a car on all wheels with the driver acting on the steering wheel and brakes
- Turn the ignition key to position "1", to release the steering wheel lock, and then to the position "II", to use the brake light, windshield wiper and direction indicators when needed.
- Engage neutral in the transmission and make sure HDC is not engaged (forced deceleration on the descent).
- Attach the tow rope, chain or rope to the eye of the body.
- Release the parking brake.
WARNING: If the engine is not running, the vehicle will not operate the brake booster and power steering. Accordingly, the force on the brake pedal and the force applied to the steering wheel will increase. Avoid using body towing eyelets for "pulling out" vehicle in particularly difficult road conditions.
Towing with the wheels raised using a service vehicle
In order to install the cardan shafts in the correct position in the future, mark the mating marks on the flanges of the cardan shaft, transfer case and gearbox before disconnecting.
Turn away bolts of fastening, remove cardan shaft from the car.
WARNING: To prevent damage to the vehicle, the rear driveshaft MUST be removed.
If the front axle of the car fits into the body of the tractor, then turn the ignition key to the position "1". In this position, the steering lock will be released.
WARNING: When the vehicle is being towed, do not turn the ignition key to the "ABOUT" or take it out of the castle.
WARNING: If the vehicle is towed after an accident or electrical failure, before turning the ignition key to the "I", disconnect the battery.
WARNING: The steering wheel and/or tie rods must be locked in the straight ahead position. It is FORBIDDEN to use the standard steering lock for this purpose.
WARNING: Do not tow or pull the vehicle out of a jam by attaching the tow cable to the rear subframe. This can cause serious damage to the subframe and bodywork.
WARNING: When towing another vehicle, always use the rear eye only.
Towing eyes
The towing eyes shown in the illustration are for towing a disabled vehicle only. They must not be used to tow a trailer or caravan.
There is one towing eye in the front spoiler. It should only be used to tow a vehicle with all wheels on the ground.
On the right side of the rear spoiler is one towing eye. It is used only for towing another vehicle.
Car transportation on a trailer
Locking loops are provided on the front and rear of the body to facilitate securing the vehicle when transported on a trailer or other vehicle.
ATTENTION: It is forbidden to use parts of the car located under the bottom for fixing. The locking straps must not be used to tow a vehicle.
Place the vehicle on the trailer platform and apply the parking brake. Engage neutral in the gearbox.
Fixing loops
Locking loops located at the front and rear of the vehicle are designed to secure the vehicle when transported on a trailer. DO NOT use the tie-down straps to tow the vehicle.
