Checking and restoring the PG1 oil level

CAUTION: Avoid prolonged skin contact with mineral oil. Mineral oils strip natural oils from the skin, leading to dry skin, irritation and dermatitis.

1. Place the car on a lift, raise it to a sufficient height, carefully unscrew the level plug, while not losing the gasket.

2. Check the oil level in the box. Before restoring the oil level in the gearbox, check for visible signs of oil leakage. Pay special attention to the condition of the drive shaft seal.

FILLING CAPACITIES, LIQUIDS AND OILS, Lubrication system.

3. Replace the level plug with a new seal.

GETRAG oil change

1. Change the oil in the gearbox.
